Dr Shaoli Shi, R.Ac, Dr TCM
Dr. Shi has studied Chinese medicine and Western medicine since 1978 at the Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China. She further earned a Master of Science Degree in Chinese Medicine in 1987 at the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China. She has completed advanced trainings in NAET, nutritional therapy, instant pain relief technique, and Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal technique in the US. Dr. Shi is a Certified NAET Practitioner, a Registered Acupuncturist at the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia, and Vice President of Manitoba Chapter for The Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada.
Dr. Shi has over 20 years of clinical experience in Chinese medicine. She has worked as a doctor of Internal Medicine and supervised interns at the Hospital Affiliated to Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine since 1987. Dr. Shi also published several papers on Chinese medicine and co-authored the Handbook of Clinical Practice of the Integration of Traditional and Western Medicine. In 1991, she came to Canada. She worked as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine in Winnipeg Naturopathic Clinic from 1992 to 1997. Dr. Shi set up her own practice - Acupuncture and Chinese Medical Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1997. Since then, she has helped thousands of patients relieve different illness involving food and environmental allergies with her knowledge, passions and skills.
